Thanks to the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers, the International Writers’ and Translators’ House is hosting a visit by Roksolana Zharkova, a Ukrainian feminist, writer and literary researcher, in May.
In cooperation with the Ventspils Ukrainian Cultural Association “Kobzar” we will organise two meetings with Roksolana:
- – on Vyshyvanka Day, 18 May at 15:30 at the Ukrainian Centre, Lielā Dzirnavu iela 14, Roksolana will have meetings with the Ukrainian diaspora;
- – a talk on Roksolana’s collection of stories dedicated to Ukrainian women in exile will take place at the Ventspils University College Hotel on 20 May at 17:00.
All interested are welcome.
