On August 19, the Latvian championship in the 10 km road race and the Ventspils county open championship in the 10 km and 5 km road race and the 5 km pole distance will be held in Piltene. There will be two starts – 5 km distance at 3.45 p.m., but for 10 km and 5 km for pole runners at 15.55. Children will also run, they will go the distance at 14.00.

After the race, all participants will be treated with sausages and cabbage. At the end of the event, the participants of the competition will be able to participate in the lottery, winning valuable prizes. The organizers invite entrepreneurs from Ventspils region to come to Pilteni and offer their products to runners and guests who will participate in the beautiful running festival.
