As of 17 December, Ventspils Cultural Centre will hold Christmas events. In its decorated hall, the youngest visitors will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities together with the characters of the theatre performance by the author and director Armands Ekštets – the Rabbit, Squirrel, and Badger, as well as to play games in front of the Christmas tree, and to presence the long-awaited arrival of Santa Claus, who will, of course, carry a sack full of presents.

The event is open to both larger groups (on 17, 18, 22, and 23 December) and individual persons (on 28 December).

At Christmas time, it is the dream of each child to receive a present. The Badger, Squirrel, and Rabbit are making the last preparations to finish their list and to make that dream come true – it is about to rain gifts. During the exciting Christmas performance “It’s Raining Gifts” by Armands Ekštets, children will help the animals resolve tricky questions by Santa Claus and seek answers to the age-old question whether Santa Claus really exists.

The Christmas events at Ventspils Cultural Centre have become a wonderful tradition, which, after two years of interruption, will bring joy to both the little ones and their parents. This event has been created with the efforts of the entire staff of the Cultural Centre – this year, in collaboration with the author and director Armands Ekštets and the costume artist Aiva Vītoliņa.
