2022. In 2022, the Kurzeme Rehabilitation Centre was opened next to the Ventspils Northern Kurzeme Regional Hospital. It offers more than 100 medical rehabilitation services to the patients, including:
- water and physical procedures;
- therapeutic massage;
- salt room;
- heat therapy;
- therapeutic gymnastics pool with movable floor – one of its kind in Latvia; and
- large physiotherapy room with specialised rehabilitation equipment.
A referral by the family physician or medical specialist is required to receive the services in the Kurzeme Rehabilitation Centre. Prior registration is required.
