I am a tall optimist born in Ventspils. I love a feeling of catching wind on a bike. For this reason, travelling on a motorcycle is something that makes my heart beat faster. I started taking photos at a hobby level in 2009, but since I was getting interested in many other things, the photography became a secondary activity. I, however, resumed it in 2017 with a great pleasure, and currently a purpose of photography is to “dig deeper and further”.
I like taking photos of everything that seems interesting to me:
- moments of daily life;
- sports;
- landscapes and nature;
- portraits, commercial photos;
- as well as everything unusual.
I am the head of the Ventspils photo club “Kaktuss”. In photographs, I prefer precision, quality and, most importantly, a story in them. A story that a photographer passes onto a viewer.
