During the Ventspils City Celebrations on August 1 and 2, the Ventspils Old Town Market Square will transform into an oasis for foodies and music lovers: here, the traditional Ventspils City Festival Old Town Fair will come together with this year’s new addition – the globally flavored Street Food Festival!

The City Festival Old Town Fair will delight food lovers on Friday, August 1, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturday, August 2, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a diverse selection of fish, meat, cheese, bread, sweets, and other products. At the market square, you’ll find both new vendors and familiar favorites. There will also be product tastings!
Craftsmen will offer beautiful and practical items — linen garment makers, jewelers, and woodworkers.
On Saturday, August 2, in the presentation zone on Skolas Street, car enthusiasts will enjoy educational entertainment — Moller Auto will present used and new cars and offer consultations, and for the first time at the Ventspils market, AutoDuals will be present with car accessories sales and consultations.
The LIDL Food Truck will visit the market square, offering various entertaining activities for the whole family.

During the Ventspils City Celebrations on August 1 and 2, the Old Town Market Square will host the Street Food Festival for the first time, surprising visitors with delicious food and drinks from various countries around the world.
On Friday evening, DJ Lācis will offer a music set called “Street Rhythms with a Taste of Summer.” Come and enjoy the tastiest music mixes from 7:00 PM until midnight as we kick off the Street Food Show flavor festival together!
The Street Food Show continues on Saturday, August 2, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, when event host Rūdolfs Milzarājs will provide an entertaining and flavorful experience with quizzes and contests, inviting everyone to taste dishes and drinks from various countries.
From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, renowned chef Javier Garcia will lead a masterclass introducing the subtle flavors of Mexican cuisine.
On Saturday evening, from 7:00 PM until 3:00 AM, the Old Town Market will host a relaxed summer atmosphere — the Street Food Lounge will offer a wide selection of food and drinks, a lounge bar, and music that will delight with a casual vibe and summery feel.
