On Friday, August 22, at 8:00 PM, singer Igo and pianist, composer Jānis Strazds invite you to a heartfelt acoustic concert “It’s August” at the cafe “VIETA, KUR būt”.
The evening’s program will feature songs co-written by the two artists, including the emotional “Nojausma”, as well as beloved hits that have become an integral part of Igo’s concerts. This will be an evening where music will allow you to immerse yourself in memories, sing along, and feel the true power of the songs.
The concert will have a special atmosphere – at times deeply emotional, at times light and joyful, especially during the joint singing sessions accompanied by Igo’s ukulele. It will be a summer evening by the sea full of warm emotions.
The event takes place as part of the cycle “Ventspils Sunset Music Evenings 2025”, which is supported by the Ventspils Freeport Authority.
