On Monday, April 14, at 7:00 PM, the “Pannas Teātris” will visit the “Jūras vārti” theatre, offering the audience a stand-up comedy show titled “Stūrgalvis”, starring actor Ainārs Ančevskis in the main — and only — role.

After taking a masculinity test in the well-known comedy “Mačo”, Ainārs now teams up with director Juris Rijnieks and playwright Justīne Kļava to tackle a pressing topic — living and surviving in our harsh reality, in an attempt to understand where our money disappears.

The main character of the new show is a nice guy — a husband, the head of a family, and a father of two. He’s just a little stubborn, as he works for next to nothing and puts up with it simply because he enjoys his job. Maybe it’s some strange rule that only the work you hate gets paid decently, while the work you love — doesn’t? Maybe this guy is a bit odd because he actually pays taxes and even calculates them himself — completely for free.

He’s one of those people who bring joy to others during the holidays, but at home he tries to present his wife with a study on the nature of love: is there a logical connection between the amount of love and the number of shoes a wife has in her closet? In life, everything revolves around money. You’re worth as much as what you own. But what if the only thing you own is the realization that things could always be worse?

Ainārs Ančevskis, a true Latvian guy, invites you to get off the couch and take a look around — maybe there’s something out there that can’t be measured in money. Something worth living for — for yourself and your loved ones — and worth spending every last cent on.
Recommended age for the show: 16+.

The guest performance at the “Jūras vārti” theatre is organized by the Interpersonal Relations Education Center “SAINS”, and tickets are available at all “Biļešu paradīze” ticket outlets.
