Ventspils Market invites everyone to the Sea Festival Fair, which this year will take place over three days – from July 4th to 6th. Continuing and expanding the annual tradition, this year’s larger market will also be held on Friday, allowing even more residents and visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere, purchase delicious treats, handmade crafts, and high-quality plants for their garden or balcony.
Friday, July 4 – Treats and Crafts.
Combining the offerings of local and traveling vendors, the market area will feature:
- Smoked fish in a wide selection, meat products, delicacies, cheeses, olives, bread,
- Handcrafted products: linen items, bags and wallets, amber jewelry, costume jewelry,
- “Taste of Georgia” – authentic Georgian cuisine products: wines, spices, and more.
Saturday, July 5 – ICE CREAM FESTIVAL!
On Saturday, the fair will pick up even more momentum – alongside the existing ice cream vendors, participants of the Ice Cream Festival will join:
- M:I Gelato – freshly made homemade ice cream prepared using the Italian gelato method,
- Mini Melts – a unique ice cream made from fresh milk, cream, and natural ingredients,
- Gogelmogels – the name of a homemade ice cream born from an age-old treat where egg yolks are whipped with sugar into a light delicacy. The ice cream contains fresh egg yolks,
- Rūjiena Ice Cream – their selection also includes ice cream balls!
The atmosphere will be enlivened by Jānis from “Street and More” with his witty commentary about the world of ice cream, and he will offer a taste of childhood – pancakes with ice cream.
There will also be the interactive children’s goods van HOTT in the market square, where you can test games.
The “Garīkas” manor will offer Shiitake mushrooms – a culinary delicacy rich in valuable nutrients with a very pleasant creamy and nutty flavor.

Friday and Saturday
Near the carillon clock, you can enjoy all day long:
- strawberries in chocolate,
- ice creams and cocktails from the Piltene farm “Muižarāji,
- Druva ice cream,
- halva with various toppings,
- Frozen Candy – candies made by freezing.
Special guest – a bee products vendor with “Live Bee TV” from the company “Health and Leisure Center” Ltd.!
Both Friday and Saturday, sales will take place on Skolas Street and Tirgus Street, which will be closed to vehicle traffic for this purpose.
On Sunday, July 6, sales will continue in a calmer atmosphere with a smaller, yet still diverse, selection.
