Getting ready for the new school year and the first day of school celebrations together! At the Ventspils Market pavilions and the Old Town Market square on Saturday, August 30th, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, there will be expanded trading beyond the usual offerings.
In Latvia, it is a beautiful tradition to give teachers flowers on September 1st—don’t wait until the last minute. On Saturday in the Old Town, you will find:
• Fresh cut flowers and flower seedlings,
• Treats for the celebrations,
• Outfits for the festive day and everyday wear,
• School supplies and essentials.
We invite vendors to join the expanded market and offer customers their products—flowers, festive treats, clothing, gifts, stationery, and other special items for the new school year!
