On June 14 at 11:00, a new exhibition “Oh, these bags, bags…”, created by the Ventspils Handicraft Studio “Spārni”, will be solemnly opened at the Ventspils Craft House.
On this special day, which is also World Knitting Day, visitors will have the opportunity not only to view gorgeous bags and purses, but also to participate in a celebration dedicated to cultivating creativity and craft skills.
The handicraft studio “Spārni” was founded in 2012, and its motto “From creativity to mastery” accurately reflects the essence of its activities. The exhibition will feature unique works created by the studio members – bags created in various techniques, including knitting and crocheting.
At the exhibition opening, the crafters will share practical tips on how to create beautiful and functional bags yourself. These will be conversations and time spent together that will inspire and stimulate creativity.
The celebration of World Knitting Day has become a tradition at the Ventspils Craft House, and this event will be especially heartfelt, bringing together needlework lovers.
