On Crafts Day at the museum, artisans will be busy at work, the Kurzeme kiln will be opened, bees will be tended, spinning and weaving will take place, crocheting and basket weaving will be done, kokle music will be played, and fish will be smoked in the smokehouse. Cheerful music and songs will fill the air as we honor the masters of their craft!
12:00 – We open the Kurzeme kiln, marking the end of Potters’ Day at the museum! Supported by VKKF.
12:00–16:00 – The concert program features performances by the Livonian song ensemble RĀNDALIST, the group “Vēju stundā,” the choir “Ziemeļzvaigzne,” the ensemble “Tev līdzās,” the Alsunga dance club, and “Alšvangas spēlmaņi.” The concert will conclude with a lively dance music performance by the band “Hameleoni”!
There will be craftsman workshops and a crafts market, horse rides, and rides with the Mazbānītis.

The exhibition “Beer Mugs” – a private collection of Dzintars Ozoliņš and the museum’s collection.
