Fish Festival. 28. In September, from 12:00, in Užava Parish, Ventspils Municipality, the fifth Užava Fish Market will take place, traditionally bringing together vendors and visitors for a fun autumn celebration. During the market, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of fish products – smoked, marinated, and salted fish, as well as canned goods and other prepared products. Additionally, local producers will offer farm-fresh goods and handicrafts. The lively atmosphere will be ensured by the cheerful and melodious members of the ethnographic ensemble “Maģie suiti.” Throughout the day, there will be engaging tasks and competitions, as well as the traditional market auction. For children, the program includes exciting activities – creative workshops, balloon sculpting, and cotton candy making. The event will conclude with a special performance by guest artist Žoržs Siksna. Event is free of charge.
