In 2025, the band “Jumprava” will enter its fifth decade, and following their grand concert at the Mežaparks Open-Air Stage in Riga, they want to meet audiences across Latvia—in outdoor stages and concert halls—performing their best songs and inviting everyone to sing along with all their heart!

Latvians’ all-time favorite noun is “nostalgia,” and what could evoke it more than the legendary songs of the band “Jumprava,” which have accompanied us in so many moments of life? We’ve all listened to them at school discos, weddings, and simply on melancholic evenings with a glass of wine. And surely, each of us has sung along.

If there’s one song whose lyrics almost everyone knows, it’s undoubtedly “Ziemeļmeita.” Both young and old know it, and it’s one of “Jumprava’s” songs included in the list of the best Latvian songs of the centenary. Meanwhile, “Šis ir mans auto!” is a song that not only gets everyone singing along but also brings back memories of youth—the boldness and maximalism of younger days.

The concert will feature both the band’s most popular songs—“Ziemeļmeita,” “Peldētājs,” “Ēna,” “Vēlreiz,” “Pa vējam,” “Lēna upe,” “Nedaudz par viņu,” and others—as well as new compositions and long-forgotten songs in fresh arrangements. Since the band’s founding, its core members have been Aigars Grāvers, Aigars Grauba, Aigars Krēsla, and the band’s founder Ainars Ašmanis, and for these concerts, the full lineup will take the stage as always!

“There are no longer the years to run around the world, so we want every performance to be special—and it will be this way in the summer of 2025. Bring your friends, and we’ll see you at our concerts, where we’ll throw a proper and unforgettable party!” the musicians invite.
