This summer, the Ghetto Games activity “Run for Fun” is being taken to a new level, providing an opportunity for everyone, regardless of previous sporting experience, to participate in Ghetto Games regional outings around Latvian cities.

This Saturday and Sunday, Ghetto Games will be visiting Ventspils.
A unique, 7-8.5km long, beautiful route will be offered, which includes several stops with breaks and mini-activities, allowing participants not only to get moving, but also to enjoy the atmosphere of the city and explore important places.

The goal of the event is simple – to remind everyone that regardless of daily responsibilities and busyness, it is important to move and take care of yourself. This is not a race for speed or results – participants are welcome and the activity is adjusted to each person’s abilities and pace.

Ghetto Games leader Raimonds Elbakyan notes: “Our main idea is that this race is suitable for everyone who can walk or run at least slowly. There is no need for crazy speed, we adapt to the runners who come, no matter how slow you are, we will put something on your shoulders at the end and carry it anyway.”

RUN FOR FUN starts at. 9.30, without prior registration. Starting point: at Ventspils skate park.

Don’t be afraid, wake up and join us – we’ll be waiting for you at the start!
