On Thursday, July 11, at 9:00 PM, Emīlija will perform at the café “VIETA, KUR būt” in Ventspils with a concert program dedicated to her recently released debut album “About Those Who Passed Me By.”
The album, released on April 23, 2024, is a nine-song story about inner changes, relationships, and the journey of growing up. Listeners are welcomed by the warmth of childhood and the challenges of maturing, wrapped in lyrical poetry and heartfelt melodies.
“This album is a collection of true stories. During its creation, I tried to be honest with myself, reflecting both everyday moments and events that have significantly influenced me as a person and as an artist,” says Emīlija.
At the concert, Emīlija will perform together with her musical collaborators – Alekss Rubins, Evelīna Lielaisramane, and Arnis Blūmentāls – bringing the songs from the album to life in a live performance.
The series “Ventspils Sunset Music Evenings 2025” is supported by the Ventspils Freeport Authority.
