On April 9, Ventspils University of Applied Sciences invites high school students to shadow university students, learn about study opportunities, and participate in Career Day, meeting entrepreneurs and learning about future job opportunities.
On this day, students will have the opportunity to meet students and shadow them in classes, VeA graduates will come to the university and share their stories of experience, and the university will host a Career Day, where various entrepreneurs will talk about their activities and job opportunities in companies.
The Faculty of Economics and Management invites you to the Young Entrepreneurs’ Day, where Triana Park soloist and VeA guest lecturer Agnese Rakovska will give an exciting lecture on creative industry management, as well as an opportunity to participate in the “Dream Business Stand-Up” and the Bank Game organized by students.
Teachers also have the opportunity to participate in a professional development workshop on this day “Discussion approach and methods in working with students. Differences from mentoring.”, which will be presented by Āris Birze, mentor of the Ventspils University of Applied Sciences study program “Startup Management”.
Ventspils University of Applied Sciences offers three faculties: Economics and Entrepreneurship, Translation Studies and Information Technology. The Electronic Engineering study program will provide students with the opportunity to participate in various practical classes and get to know the university’s laboratories, as well as the everyday life of IT studies. Translators will have prepared exciting language lessons and will allow you to see how modern, exciting and technology-filled translation is. VeA also offers the opportunity to study Intercultural Communication, where you will learn about various aspects of culture and how to communicate more effectively.
