Safari tour:

Tour on roads of the natural reserve Ance Bogs and Forests. Riding is mainly on forest roads and on tank roads.

On our way, we will look at forest lakes, bogs, the Irbene radio telescope and one of the best places for picking mushrooms and berries in Northern Kurzeme.

It is very likely that you will see forest animals and their tracks.

There is a small tasting of local delicacies during the tour.

The tour lasts 1 – 5 hours. A mini safari – ~30 min tour is available depending on the conditions.

The tour can be started in two ways – from the place in Northern Kurzeme you indicate, or by coming to us in Ance Municipality, Krastiņi

Number of participants:

Capacity of GAZ 66 – 18 pers.

Capacity of Land Rover Defender – 9 pers. (2 cars are available)

Capacity of UAZ – 12 pers.

After the tour you can reserve a table in the cafe #Mežā (June, July, August), or you can order a set table under a shed in the forest in the autumn/winter/spring season.

• we will show the photograph a nice place for taking photos
• wood grouses during rutting time (mid-April, start of May)
• roe-deer during mating time, beautiful nests of white storks, cranes (end of June, July)
• deer during mating (September)
• you may meet a wolf, a white-tailed eagle, foxes, racoons
