Idol’s linden is an ancient place of worship that is a typical one to Kurzeme. That is a tree with many trunks that is growing on the both sides of a graveyard’s fence. It seems that the oldest offspring is the sloping one that branches outside the graveyard. If you look closely, it is possible to see that the linden growing on the both sides of the fence actually comes from one source.

It is an ancient place of worship on the outskirts of Tārgale village, by the fence of Eglīšu or Elku graveyard.
