One of the city’s most popular tourism and leisure attractions is the pleasure boat Hercogs Jēkabs of the Freeport of Ventspils. From May to October it departs 5-7 times per day from the pier on the cross of Tirgus and Ostas streets. During the 45-minute long trip you have the chance to see the estuary of the river Venta, the old city, the industrial area of Ventspils Freeport and the sea gate. Seats on the boat – 150.

• Tickets can be purchased only for the current day from 9.00 at the Box Office (located next to the pier on the crossing of Tirgus and Ostas streets).
• Children under 10 years of age are allowed to use the boat only accompanied by adults.
• Organized trips can be submitted at schedule breaks. Fee: EUR 300 per 45 min.
