Pedestrian Bridge over the Ķikans River
The pedestrian bridge crosses the Ķikans River at the place where the Ventspils - Mazirbe - Stende narrow-gauge railway line or, as the locals say, the Small Train track once used to be. The railway served until 1963. You can get right to the bridge over the Irbe River on the Ventspils - Kolka road by bicycle or on foot along the trail and dirt road. Irbe is one of the most popular rivers in Latvia, suitable also for families with children.
