This summer, Ventspils Science Center VIZIUM invites you to celebrate the Terrace Festival together, where families will be able to work in STEAM tents – experiment, learn the basics of electronics, program robots, create charms and pins, try out VR glasses and more! Transformers will also be there to meet guests, Marija's dance studio will delight with dance performances, while DJ Monsta will provide positive musical entertainment.
The VIZIUM Terrace Festival will take place on August 2nd from 13.00:16.00 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM. Event program:
- Diverse workshops for the whole family in STEAM tents:
- [S] In the science tent, guests will participate in colorful experiments and learn about human internal organs.
- [T] In the technology tent, virtual reality glasses will take you to another dimension, while drone demonstrations and exploration of the laws of physics will reveal the power of technology.
- [IS] In the engineering tent, little tinkerers will build and experiment with shapes and colors, using their imagination, while older children and adults will learn the basics of electronics by soldering a glow-in-the-dark token.
- [A] In the art tent, festival participants will unleash their creativity by creating a brooch or painting a wooden pendant.
- [M] In the math tent, there will be an opportunity to program robots to draw geometric shapes, as well as play sudoku.
- From 13.00 – 13.20, holiday guests will be delighted Maria's Dance Studios student performances.
- At 13.45 – 14.15 Terrace Festival guests will have the opportunity to take photos with Transformer.
- DJ Monsta will provide a positive atmosphere with energetic rhythms.
- Everyone will be able to test their dexterity and accuracy VIZIUM in large-format games, but the smallest holiday guests will be able to have fun on the mini inflatable attraction.
The Science Center's exhibition hall will operate as usual, but creative workshops and science shows will not take place on August 2. Tickets for the exhibition hall can be purchased at the VIZIUM box office and online. https://vizium.lv/booking.
