Let's welcome the impressive arrival of the mighty Sea Lord Neptune and his charming retinue of sea maidens! Accompanied by magnificent water jets from tugboats, they will ceremoniously enter the port of Ventspils. In honor of Neptune, musical and dance performances will take place, and - who knows, maybe for the first time we will hear Neptune himself playing music and performing sonorous sea songs.
12.45 National Theatre singing actors' blitz "AIRI" – a program created especially for the Ventspils Maritime Festival with fun and well-known songs.
14.00 EVENING ZINE PRELUDE – we will be able to see several beloved artists in Latvia on stage, who, especially for the Sea Festival, will have prepared an introductory program for the "Guntas Skrastiņš Song and Zine Festival" in Reņķa Garden.
15.15 NEPTUNE ACCOMPANYMENT – with the group “PIEMARE” we will accompany Neptune in a sonorous and attractive way.
15.40 Concert. IVO FOMINS with his band – one of the most famous rock musicians in Latvia, endowed with a strong voice and bright stage energy. You will hear “Nekas jau nebeijas”, “Putni bez spārniem” and other favorite songs.

LET'S BUILD A DREAM SHIP – Each participant of the festival will have the opportunity to create a large-format environmental object – a dream ship for Ventspils residents – together with artists from the Ventspils Art School.

The festival will feature the bands “Lauku Muzikanti”, “Tērvete”, “Ogas”, “Bumerangs” and the duet “Karakums”, actors Rihards Lepers, Jānis Paukštello, singers Andris Baltacis, Santa Kasparsone, Dainis Skutelis, Roberts Ošiņš, Inese Ērmane, Juris Ostrovskis and other artists. Soloists and singing actors will be musically accompanied by Guntas Skrastiņš’s band “No Pusvārda” and the singing ladies’ trio “Oranžās”. Competitions, surprises and a ball until 3:00!
