On Friday, September 27, the annual European Researchers’ Night will take place, during which the Ventspils Science Center VIZIUM will offer various educational activities to promote science and its achievements. During the event, everyone will have the opportunity to participate in engaging tasks and experiments, helping both adults and children understand the inventions of famous scientists.

At the Researchers’ Night, VIZIUM will offer an exciting adventure—visitors will have the chance to explore the inventions of different scientists in a practical way. Using a map, participants will need to reach science stations where they will learn about the inventions of Isaac Newton, Leonardo da Vinci, as well as Latvian scientists, by completing interesting tasks, experiments, and other activities. At each station, participants will not only gain new knowledge and spend time creatively but also gradually decipher the secret code of Researchers’ Night. The event is free and will take place on September 27 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the 2nd floor of the VIZIUM Science Center in Ventspils.

Additionally, during the event, attendees will have the chance to meet representatives from Ventspils University College, who will offer educational quizzes, demonstrations of electronic devices, and an opportunity to observe constellations through a telescope, weather permitting

On September 27, the exhibition hall of the science center will be open until 9:00 PM. Throughout the day, there will be a 15% discount on entrance tickets to the exhibition hall!
