Ventspils Science Center VIZIUM invites families to end the summer by participating in an entertaining and attractive family competition, where both the logical thinking and dexterity of the participants will be tested. In the evening, everyone is invited to enjoy a musical performance by Amanda Maržecka and the special atmosphere of an open-air cinema, watching the film “The Little Prince” together. All activities are free of charge!
The event is taking place on Saturday, on August 31, at the science center VIZIUM. “Family Day” program:
- From 12:00 to 16:30, attractive family competitions with catchy tasks and fun activities:
- 12:00 – 14:00 registration at the VIZIUM box office, up to 6 people per team.
- Each team receives a map, instructions and a task sheet.
- Until 4:00 p.m., families complete the following tasks:
- The order of the checkpoints is not important.
- At each checkpoint, the participant earns points, which the organizers will collect at the end of the event.
- Participants will receive a sticker on their task sheet for each task completed.
- The tasks will take approximately 2 hours to complete, so you can do them at your own pace, planning breaks.
- At 4:30 p.m. "Family Day" award ceremony on the VIZIUM terrace.
- At 5:00 PM, concert on the VIZIUM terrace.
A musical performance will be given by Amanda Maržecka, Roberts Nejs and Oskars Nejs.
- 7:00 PM movie night on the big screen on the lawn near the VIZIUM terrace.
The film "The Little Prince". We invite you to bring blankets and mosquito repellent to enjoy the movie evening in a cozy atmosphere.
