We invite you to explore the diversity of Latvian freshwater fish in an exciting and interactive exhibition! Learn how fish live, what role they play in aquatic ecosystems, and try various educational activities – determine the age of fish by their scales, learn about food webs, and learn to recognize different fish species.
The exhibition will be interesting for both children and adults who want to learn more about Latvian nature and the freshwater world.
Entrance fee – 3 EUR.
Hydrobiologist Dāvis Ozoliņš has ensured the scientific accuracy of the exhibition materials, while Ivars Putviķis, the manager of the fish farm “Tome”, has also provided valuable input. The exhibition is financially supported by the Fish Foundation, and the project is implemented by the Natural History Museum Support Society.
