David Chevallier Trio and Anett Tamm (France, Estonia)

David Chevalier has been one of the brightest figures on the French creative jazz scene for many years. The trio he formed in 2013 with double bassist Sébastien Boisseau and drummer Christophe Lavergne has become an internationally recognized and sought-after jazz ensemble in the world. After a successful tour, in August 2021, the David Chevalier Trio returns to Latvia with singer Anette Tamma, one of the most talented artists on the Estonian jazz scene.

The new acoustic jazz program “Borders” was created by French composer and guitarist David Chevalier in collaboration with Estonian singer Anette Tamm. The main theme of the program is the border – a place where one can move from one universe to another, from one culture to another, where one can encounter the unknown and the unprecedented.
