The Ventspils German Cultural Society, with the support of general sponsor Gregor Ziegler, SIA "ZIBU" and the company Ziegler - Erden, invites you to the German festival "Oktoberfest" with the motto "We are united by a German song" on September 2025, 20, in the festival tent at Ventspils Market Square.
The beer festival “Oktoberfest 2025” in Ventspils is a long-awaited festival and it will be held in our city for the eighth time. The festive program will be enriched by the Alpine horn players “Stiftländer Alphornbläser”, the brass band “Blaskapelle Stiftländer Alphornbläser” from Bavaria, the singer Dorothee Lotsch from Penzberg in Germany and musical groups from Latvia and Lithuania. The concert will feature the band “Akords” and the dance group “Serbentėlė” from Mažeikiai, “Deutsche Kulturverein Memel” from Klaipėda, the ensembles of German cultural societies: “Morgenrot” from Riga, “Die Lustigen” from Dobele, “Zusammen sein” from Liepāja, “Windau” from Ventspils. For the first time, the male vocal ensemble “Tukuma malači” will participate in our festival. Music will be performed by the city and Ventspils region collectives: folklore group “Laipa”, ensembles “Ziedu laiks”, “Rudens roze”, “Vēju stundā”, students of the Piltene Music School, soloists Tetiana Kolii and Oksana Lutsenko from the Ukrainian society “Kobzar”, Ventspils Blumizerists and the group “Līgo”. Entertainment opportunities for adults are planned during the festivities, and a holiday lottery will be held.
A kitchen with German dishes will be open, and German beer sales are planned.
