Ventspils St. Nicholas Evangelical Lutheran Church, located in Ventspils, Tirgus Street 2, is celebrating its 190th anniversary this year.
Our city's Lutheran church is not only a beautiful and historic building, but also a sacred place, radiating God's peace and light. Through the centuries, protected by God, it has remained authentic and intact.
On September 14 at 10:00, an anniversary service will be held, led by Bishop HMJensons. During the service, the pastor-dean of the Ventspils parish will be installed. K.Irbe, as well as teenagers prepared for consecration, will be consecrated. Musical refreshment will be provided by the early music group “Modus Vivendi” and the Ventspils Lutheran parish choir. Every Ventspils resident, as well as a guest of the city, is welcome to the anniversary service, where we will glorify God and give thanks for our church.
