Pannas Theatre presents the most famous contemporary Latgalian play ("Latgola.LV", "Ontans i Anne" etc.) author Danskovīte's latest comedy.
The director of the play Juris Rijnieks will make the actors speak Latgalian and immerse themselves in small-town life with sincerity and humor. You want something real and sincere! – often heard all around. You want to do something the way you like – simply and from the heart! Then small town in Lotgol is the right place for all this to happen! Even cats have aura time there all year round. Former MPs go there to spend their retirement years so they can still feel great and respected.
And there, Eva, a girl who has traveled the roads of Europe, returns to her homeland to start a new life. Her visit to her cousin turns her usual routine upside down and unusual things start to happen – the city policeman gets excited and starts ironing his pants, the local Hare Krishnas sell intoxicating cupcakes, a night striptease returns the male power to the former deputy and, of course, Eva meets her Adam, whom she wakes up from the lethargic sleep of a bachelor. A country green ball, a morning walk in the fog, welcoming the sun in close embraces and a business prospect that brings income allow her to come to terms with herself.
Latgale – a bridge to itself!
