The group “Sudden Lights” is one of the brightest Latvian pop-rock groups, which has gained wide recognition both in Latvia and abroad. The group gained wider popularity in 2023, winning Supernova and representing Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song “Aijā”. In recent years, the group has regularly topped Latvian radio and streaming charts. In 2025, it also received several important Latvian music awards, including two Golden Microphones and three new industry awards GAMMA. At the end of last year, the group held its sold-out grand concert at the Xiaomi Arena, after which the new film story “Sudden Lights Arena” was created, which follows the group’s fourth studio album “Īsas vasaras garas ziemes”.
