We invite all interested parties who wish to start studying at MIKC “Ventspils Music Secondary School” in the 2025/2026 academic year to participate in the open days and consultations that will take place on February 8, March 8, and April 12. This is a great opportunity to get to know the school and the vocational secondary education programs it offers.
On the first open day – February 8 – interested parties will have the opportunity to talk to the school management, get answers to their questions about the learning process, admission requirements and school life, as well as learn more about the educational program directions offered by the school. There will also be an opportunity to get acquainted with the teachers, the chosen specialty and solfeggio consultations.

Entrance exams for MIKC “Ventspils Music High School” will be held on April 26 and June 7.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, students are admitted to the following vocational secondary education programs:
· Keyboard instrument playing – piano
· Keyboard instrument playing – organ playing
· Playing string instruments
· Wind instrument playing
· Percussion game
· Conducting
· Vocal music
· Music history and theory
· Rhythm music and music technology
These educational programs offer various opportunities for young musicians and music technologists to develop their skills and obtain professional education that will allow them to pursue a career in music or further their education at higher education institutions.
