Meeting with writer and artist Lelda Braķi-Klaveri
Ventspils Children's Library, continuing the project “Reading Laboratory” financially supported by the State Culture Capital Fund, invites you to a meeting with writer, translator, artist Lelde Braķe-Klaverī. Combining her experience in the field of art and literature, Lelde Braķe-Klaverī has realized an old dream – she has written and illustrated three children's books. Together with her son Nila, she has created two books for younger school-age children, which tell the story of the adventures of a tiger cub — a detective: “Expedition on Zakusala” and “The Secret of Graffiti”. The third book has just been published – an educational comic book “Journey into the History of Ukraine”. The book was created in collaboration between Latvian and Ukrainian authors and artists.
During the meeting with the artist, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the books published by Lelde Braķe-Klaveri, as well as the opportunity to participate in a creative workshop.
