The play “How the Other Half Loves” by playwright Alan Ayckbourn (Alan Ayckbourn / England) was written in 1969 and contributed to the author’s recognition. The director of the play also decided not to transfer the action to the present day, but to preserve the aesthetics of that time. The plot of the play is smooth and lively, filled with witty dialogues that perfectly reveal the contradictory nature of man. It is a story about three married couples and the twists and turns of their love, as well as the different understanding of love, which makes it relevant at any time. Because.. it is rarely possible to understand how the other half loves.

The event is organized by the "Kurzeme Philharmonic" and financed by the Ventspils City Municipality.
