A tired investigator reluctantly takes on the most difficult case of his career and is assigned to investigate a murder in a small village - Vakars. Some time ago, a poet was burned to death here under mysterious circumstances, during an eclipse.
In this existentially absurd detective story, the investigator will not only try to find the murderer, but also address the question of how to regain lost joy in life, motivation, and a sense of meaning.
The performance has been nominated for the 2024/2025 season's "Players' Night" award in 3 nominations: "Large-form performance of the year", "New work of the year in music or musical design" (Edgars Mākens) and "New work of the year in dramaturgy or performance script, theater text" (Klāvs Mellis, Matīss Budovskis).
