For the third year in a row, the last week of November at the Faculty of Translation Studies will be spent remembering Professor Juris Baldunčiks.
On November 27, the Ventspils University of Applied Sciences library will host a memorial event for long-time VeA professor Juris Baldunčiks, titled "An Afternoon of Inspiration with Professor Juris Baldunčiks."
The event will begin with a look at the professor's memorial office at 2:40 p.m., and then continue in the VeA library with a dictionary. rally, in which students of the 2nd TVT course will present dictionaries in the development, consultation or review of which the professor has participated. After rally The opening event of the book “Juris Baldunčiks. Scientific articles. Opinion articles. Interviews” will take place in the library at 16.15 for university colleagues. During the social part, there will be an opportunity to browse the collection over a cup of tea and a pretzel and listen to the story of the editors of the collection, TSF Dean Jānis Veckrāčis and Silga Sviķe.
