During Great Lent, we invite you to a special creative and spiritual gathering "Creative Journey in Faith", where we will search for and deepen the symbols of the path of faith, talk and share experiences.
At the rectory of St. Joseph's Church in Jurkalne, we will experience together:
- Rosary workshop “The Path of Life and Symbols”
- Let's learn and understand the deeper meaning of the Rosary, its symbolism and connection to our everyday lives. Together, let's build and discover the power of this ancient prayer.
- Conversations with a priest
- An opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts, and seek answers about matters of faith, life, and spiritual growth.
- “What shall we eat during Lent”
- Conversation and exchange of experiences about Lent traditions, preparing simple but tasty and symbolic meals. Let's experience the taste of childhood by baking hunger pancakes together - a simple but hearty and symbolic Lent meal that reminds us of modesty and the value of being together.
The event takes place as part of the event cycle "Jūrkalnes vāddam 100". Admission is free.
