The spring solstice marks the moment when the day becomes longer than the night, nature awakens to new life and it is the right time to draw energy from the power of the sun and the earth. We invite everyone to join this celebration rich in traditions in Jūrkalne, where we will honor the return of the sun together.
In the morning – welcoming the sun on a steep bank
At 6.35:XNUMX a.m. we will gather on the steep shore of Jūrkalne, where, following ancient customs, we will greet the rising sun with songs and rituals.
In the evening – celebration of the spring solstice at the Windmill House.
At 17.30:XNUMX PM, we will celebrate spring together at the Vējturi House with swinging, egg painting and rolling, various games, plays, and other activities.
