On February 8 at 16.00:XNUMX p.m., a special event will take place at the Piltene Culture House, which will combine culinary wonders, humor, and heartfelt togetherness. This event is dedicated to the book “There are no indifferent people! Mixed readings for the soul and the body”, created by two witty and cheerful authors from the Cēsis region – Nata Bramberga and Liene Margeviča.

The book, published by Zvaigzne ABC at the end of 2024, is a unique collection of stories and recipes that combine joyful, humorous moments with delicious dishes.

At the event, Piltene residents and guests will not only be able to enjoy this special book atmosphere, but also actively participate in various activities. During the evening, a raffle of valuable items is planned, as well as an eating competition “Lauru Lapa pret Pilteni”, where Courland residents will have the opportunity to show their gastronomic courage.

Everyone is also invited to participate in the culinary exhibition "Piltenieku vēderprieki", where you will have the opportunity to show off your culinary skills and share family recipes.

The Zlēki Amateur Theatre “Margots” will participate in the event, hosting the quiz “Know or Tell!”.

At the end of the evening, you will have the opportunity to challenge your taste buds by enjoying a world-famous delicacy prepared specifically for this event.

During the event, there will also be an opportunity to purchase the book “There are no indifferent people!”. To participate in the culinary exhibition or reserve a book, you must register in advance at the Piltene library or by phone 25423839.
