The work of the employees of the Restoration Department of the Ventspils Museum. The exhibition will feature items from the ethnographic, household and archaeological collections of the Ventspils Museum, which have been restored by the employees of the Restoration Department of the museum. Three restorers work at the Ventspils Museum – head of the department and restorer of archaeological material Anita Burkovska, metal restorer Līva Ķemere and wood restorer Aigars Vējkrīgeris. This is the first joint exhibition of restorers of the Ventspils Museum. It allows us to assess the importance of the work of restorers in the museum, giving ancient objects the opportunity to be preserved for the future.
The unique works of restorers will be on display until April 27.
