In 1941, a daughter loses her father, who is sent to Siberia. In 1944, a Siberian mother's son is brought to Latvia to fight. Two families are separated, but their fates unexpectedly intertwine when the father meets his mother in Siberia, and the son starts living with his daughter in Latvia. This is not a play about history, but about longing for home, human strength and at the same time powerlessness, hatred and at the same time love, and about growing up.
The performance takes place in Latvian and Russian (and with subtitles).
The performance has been nominated for the “Kilogram of Culture” award in the THEATRE category in the 2020 winter ballot!

Organized by SIA “Kurzeme Philharmonic”
