The Latvian Youth Indoor Archery Championship will be held in Ventspils
On March 1, the Latvian Youth Indoor Archery Championship will be held at the Olympic Center “Ventspils” athletics arena, with 70 participants from seven Latvian sports clubs. Ventspils sports club “Odisejs” will be represented by 9 archers led by coach Viktors Avsjuks.
The competition will be held in individual evaluation for both young men and women, in four age groups – U-21 U-18, U-15 and U-13. The evaluation will take place in the WA defined bow classes: Olympic bow – R, compact bow – C, long English bow – L, traditional bow – T and unequipped bow – B.
Competition program:
11:00 – 11:30 – Registration, technical commission;
11:30 – 11:45 – Opening of the competition;
11:45 – 16:30 – Competition;
16:30 – Awards ceremony.

The competition is organized by the Latvian Archery Federation in cooperation with the Latvian Olympic Committee, the Latvian Council of Sports Federations and SK ODISEJS.
