On Saturday, March 8, the Latvian Weightlifting Championship for adults will take place at the Centrs Sports Center. The competition starts at 10.00:XNUMX.
It is planned that the best weightlifters of Latvia will participate in the competition, including Ritvars Suharevs, Artūrs Plēsnieks and Armands Mežinskis. Ritvars Suharevs will start around 14:00, and Armands Mežinskis and Artūrs Plēsnieks – around 16:00.
The competition will be held in nine weight categories: up to 55 kg, 61 kg, 67 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 89 kg, 96 kg, 102 kg and over 102 kg. Women will compete according to the Sinclair points table.
The winners of the awards in each weight category will receive medals and diplomas, while the best weightlifters – one in the men's and one in the women's competition – will be awarded a cup according to the results of the Sinclair table.
The Latvian Weightlifting Championship is organized by the Latvian Weightlifting Federation with the financial support of the Ventspils City Municipality.
