On Sunday, March 2 at 14.00:XNUMX p.m. at the Ventspils Culture Center, we invite you to a heartfelt concert “White Stories”. The concert program will feature songs by various Latvian composers performed by choirs, especially honoring the work of Maestro Raimonds Pauls. We will also enjoy performances by an instrumental ensemble and a dance group.
The concert will feature the mixed choirs “Līvzeme” under the direction of conductor Astra Plostniece and the mixed choir “Kandava” under the direction of Rūdolfs Bacāns. The choirs have prepared a diverse repertoire, in which the music of Latvian composers will intertwine with the legendary melodies of Raimonds Pauls, which will remind us of the Maestro's contribution to our culture.
The program will also be enriched by the instrumental ensemble “Intro” led by Sergejs Somiks. The ensemble will perform themes composed and arranged by Sergejs himself, as well as jazz standards and, of course, the works of Raimonds Pauls.
Meanwhile, the folk dance group "Liedags" led by Inga Liepiņa will delight the audience with dance performances, taking them on a true journey of joy, performing cheerful and joyful dances.
Ticket price: 3 EUR. Available in advance at the Ventspils Culture Centre box office.
