The band “Menuets” invites you to their anniversary concerts!
The group "Menuets" is one of the most famous Latvian rock bands, which became popular as a performer of the music of composer Imants Kalniņš, and currently "Menuets" is the oldest band still performing in Latvia. The group's first performance took place in 1968, when six Jūrmala schoolchildren got together, when the brothers Sējāni and Bartaševići, together with their associates, began joint rehearsals in rock music, now "Menuets" will celebrate their golden 2023th anniversary in the summer and autumn of 55 by captivating, moving and inviting everyone to sing together with all their heart.
The anniversary concert program in the summer and autumn of 2023 will feature the most beautiful and popular "Minuet" songs of all time, written by Imants Kalniņš: "They Danced One Summer", "The Tin Soldiers", "The Voice of the Cuckoo", "The Ballad of Johan", "The Song You Started With", "Four White Shirts", "They Danced One Summer", etc., as well as the group's early songs, written by Adrians Kukuvass, Juris Sējāns and Juris Kulakovs.
The band "Menuets" still includes Inese Pabērza, Adrians Kukuvass, Baiba Jagere, Normunds Puriņš, Juris Sējāns, Leons Sējāns, Raimonds Bartaševics and Ikars Ruņģis.
