On Saturday, February 8, at 13.00:XNUMX p.m., the opening of the photography and painting exhibition “Ethiopia – the breath of antiquity” and a meeting with traveler Indra Lielkaja will take place at the Gāliņciems Library – landscape architects who love Africa very much and can call Ethiopia their second home.
The traveling joint exhibition features photographs by Juris Lielkājis and paintings by Ethiopian painter Samuel Abebe Tilahun. Juris Lielkājis has traveled extensively in African countries and considers Ethiopia, with its tribes, nature, and culture, to be one of the most colorful. Photography is Juris' passion and hobby.
The works included in the exhibition at the Gāliņciems Library will be on display in two parts – one part will be on display from February 8 to 28, and the other part will be on display from March 1 to 29.
