As spring approaches, Ventspils residents and city guests are invited to walk or cycle through thriving Ventspils using the Walk15 mobile app. It features a new walking route “Cow Parade Exhibits in Ventspils”, which includes 24 cow figurines created in two art and patronage projects, CowParade or Cow Parade.
After the charity auctions, some of the goats have found their new owners, but some of the sculptures still delight the city's residents and guests. 24 goat sculptures of various sizes and colors, created by artists known in Latvia and abroad, are located on the streets, squares and parks of Ventspils. The route invites you to take a walk of almost 20 kilometers to get to know the diversity of these works of art and at the same time spend your time actively.
Walk15 is a free mobile app that motivates you to move more in your daily life. It synchronizes steps from your smartphone and smartwatch, allows you to participate in various challenges, exchange your accumulated steps for discounts and other benefits, as well as discover new walking routes in cities and nature. In the app, you can follow the route map, learn interesting facts about the surroundings, and take care of your health at the same time.
