On July 12th at 14:00 PM, the traditional “Kurland Bike Meet” motorcycle parade will take place. This year, due to technical reasons, the parade will only take place in the part of the city on the left bank of the Venta River (see map). hereThe ride will end at the Ostas Street promenade, where everyone will have the opportunity to see the impressive motorcycles up close and enjoy a concert by the band “Credo”.
We ask Ventspils residents and visitors to take into account the following traffic restrictions:
- From 13:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m., Vasarnīcu Street (from Aizsaules to Inženieru Street) will be closed for the formation of the parade column;
- From 13:50–15:00 traffic restrictions during the parade (route: Vasarnīcu Street – Kroņu Street – Lielais Prospect – Lāčplēša Street – Sarkanmuižas Dambis – Brīvības Street – Kuldīgas Street – Jūras Street – Vasarnīcu Street – Ostas Street);
- From 13:30–17:00 the Ostas Street promenade is closed to traffic.
