On 21 October at 18.00, the large family of dancers from the dance ensemble “Liedags” and the senior dance group “Brīzīte” invites you to a concert “This Is how We Dance at Our House” at the Ventspils Culture Centre. Dancers from 3 years old to seniors will take part in a colourful dance interplay. For the youngest this will be their first major concert, and for the more experienced it will be the start of a new season.
Inga Liepiņa, the artistic director of the group, says: “With this concert we want to accentuate and celebrate the special feeling of autumn. A gold coat on the back, red boots on the feet. Autumn evening, that special time after the summer, when the falling leaves of the trees create a colourful swirl. Our dancers are swirling like that too”.
Ventspils Culture Centre’s dance ensemble “Liedags” was founded in 1991 and the love of dance brings together about 170 dancers from 3 to 50 years of age. The dance group “Brīzīte” brings together ladies over 50 who dance a special form of dance – senior dances, which are adapted to the abilities of older people. The range of senior dances is very wide – the most varied dances of the world’s nations, which allow you to relax, feel your body and at the same time enjoy the music and the joy of being together.
Tickets are EUR 3. Tickets at all “Biļešu paradīze” box offices and points of sale
