On 27 April, the exhibition “Pavasaris 2023” (Spring 2023) will open at the Theatre House “Jūras vārti”, featuring works created in the last two years by Ventspils artists. The opening will also be a great opportunity for everyone to meet the authors in person.
Until the end of last week, the exhibition halls of the Theatre House “Jūras vārti” were showing the paintings of Gunta Kalsere. The space has now been vacated for a joint exhibition of artists from Ventspils. Artists started actively submitting their work at the very beginning of the week.
The joint exhibition of Ventspils artists offers an opportunity to experience the current diversity of the region’s visual arts. Although they are not thematically related, they give an idea of the current issues on artists’ minds.
The exhibition is organised by SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” in collaboration with Ventspils artists and supported by the Ventspils State City Municipality.
The exhibition will be on show at the Theatre House “Jūras vārti” until 28 May.
